Exeter Cathedral

Exeter Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral, and the seat of the Bishop of Exeter, in the city of Exeter, Devon in South West England. It is one of the great cathedrals of England, and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture anywhere.

This project involved the replacement and coordinated re-launch of the Exeter Cathedral website – a large scale project centred around content, news, events and with integration with third party APIs.

Although I wasn’t the lead developer on this project I assisted in the development of the homepage as well as providing support and advice. I also assisted in the site launch and making sure the “go-live” was smooth and successful.

Outcomes

This project delivered a well crafted, attractive website and has helped drive more traffic to the site and improve the Exeter Cathedral’s web presence and marketing.

The site presents a lot of information in an easy to navigate manner and is a great example of how a new website can completely revitalise a company or organisation and boost their web presence.
