Cotswolds - Day 3 (Part 2)
After Bibury we headed to Northleach, UK - a very small village with a little church (3) and a few shops. One of the shops was an old fashioned greengrocer and a fruiterer (1, 2) - I wasn’t even aware “fruiterer” was a word!
Next stop was Bourton-on-the-Water, UK - another little market town with shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs all built around the river (4, 5). I spotted an old fashioned van (4) that looked like it was from a set of an old movie - a little village unaware of modernisation and the fast pace of rest of the world.
Our final stop was Stow-on-the-Wold where we had lunch before heading home.
Overall a really enjoyable weekend break and somewhere I’d definitely like to visit again!
Shoots #23: Roadtrip!
Last day of our long weekend in the Cotswolds so we did a mini road trip through Bibury, Northleach, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.
In Northleach we saw this village sign which I thought was unique, eye catching and quintessentially English… So many lovely, picturesque villages, what a really enjoyable day!
Posts to follow soon with more photos.
Why not read about my weekend away?
Shoots #17: Winter Fights Back…
So far this year we’ve been really lucky and had an extremely mild winter but today winter fought back…
This morning was the first proper frost I’ve seen this winter and although glistening and picturesque it was freezing walking to work.
Where did I put my hat, scarf and gloves?
