Cheltenham & Gloucester
A couple of weeks ago I visited friends of mine in Cheltenham for a long overdue catch up and a joint Birthday/Engagement celebration. Congratulations Liz and Pete on your engagement!
While at university I made some really good friends and unfortunately I, like many others, let life get in the way and don’t keep in touch as often as I’d like or should. Thankfully though, good friends can pick up where they left off and we had a really enjoyable weekend.
The photos above are some of the snaps I took in and around Gloucester Quays. Such a lovely shopping outlet set amongst the docks. We had a lovely lunch, pottered around the shops and enjoyed the sunshine which in itself is extremely rare for January.
Cheltenham & Gloucester (Continued…)
In the afternoon after a lovely morning at Gloucester Quays we headed into Gloucester town centre and wondered around the stunning Gloucester Cathedral (above) - which apparently was used in some of the Harry Potter films.
On the evening we headed to Cheltenham for drinks and dinner (final picture) and then we danced the night away….
All in all it was a lovely weekend of fun and laughter and it was really nice catching up with old friends and getting to know new ones. Thanks all who were there for making it a great weekend!
Shoots #13: Super, Funky, Retro
Visiting a friend in Cheltenham and she has a lovely house but the bathroom still needs updating. Exhibit 1, the lovely retro blind… It’s so old it’s almost new!
