Shoots #43: Darts Farm
Last day in Devon today, headed to Exmouth and pottered around Darts Farm - Lovely weekend!
Cotswolds - Day 1 & 2
As promised I’ve finally uploaded the photos from my weekend away in the Cotswolds (22nd - 24th Jan).
We arrived Saturday afternoon and checked in to our B&B (1) - a lovely little pub in the village of South Cerney, UK. We settled in, unpacked and headed out for a drive in the country. The Cotswolds is a lovely part of the UK with lots of quintessentially English villages/towns and stunning views.
In the evening we went to a little gastro pub called “The Crown of Crucis” and had a lovely meal - a great way to unwind for the weekend. The pub had some funky light fixtures (2) that cast really interesting shadows, definitely worth a snap.
Sunday we headed to the Cotswolds water park and went for a walk around one of the 140 lakes. The lake had a man-made beach (3, 4) which I can imagine in summer is a great place to relax and do some water sports.
Scattered among the water park are some lovely holiday homes. After some research I discovered that you can rent the holiday homes at a reasonable rate so I’m hoping to organise a trip later in the year with friends.
In the afternoon we headed into Cirencester, UK and pottered around the town. Cirencester is such a lovely little market town known for it’s wool industries (5) and has lots of quaint shops, cafes, restaurants and a stunning cathedral (6).
In the evening we relaxed and had a wonderful meal at The Old Boathouse - a lovely end to a lovely day!
Day 3 - Road Trip (Part 1)…
Shoots #22: Where’s my Bucket & Spade?
Day 2 of the mini-break in Cirencester. Went to the Cotswolds water park today, it has a beach, who’d of guessed!
