Shoots #4: Overlooked Architecture
Since the start of my “Shoots” challenge I’ve kept an eagle eye out for photo opportunities as I go about my everyday life - today was no exception.
I think it’s such a shame that we meander through life with eyes firmly fixed on the path ahead and fail to notice our surroundings - whereas, away from home, we take the time to look up, above the eye line of passers by, and really take in the sights.
There are so many stunning buildings in our own towns and cities that we fail to appreciate so I thought I would share one with you (even if it’s a shame it’s become a bar).
Next time you’re out and about, look up!

Those who have criticised it as being “the final moments of 9/11” are wrong. I’m not diminishing the attack on the twin towers, it was indeed a terrible terrible thing but lets not stand in the way of beauty, progress and modern architecture!
